The best way to support the Agile Water Cooler is to be involved! If you’re a veteran practitioner of agility, join and help us teach the next generation! Right now, there are several opportunities to help (I’ll update this list as more opportunities become available):
- Participate/facilitate book club discussions
- Participate in AWC calls
- Participate in our chat/Discord
- Coach/Join study groups for agile certifications
- Spread the word about AWC to friends/colleagues/other agile practitioners
- Ask questions
- Answer questions
- Spearhead any other activity you think our group can benefit from
Some people in the community have expressed an interest in supporting things financially, or even just buying me a coffee. While costs are relatively low for running our community and I would much rather folks contribute via the methods above and, I do pay for several things (my Zoom account for facilitating calls, website and related costs, etc) out of my own pocket (who am I?).
I don’t love the idea of asking for money, but there are more things I we could do with our community that finances could assist with. That said, if you’re interested in financial support for the Agile Water Cooler, you can donate via the link below. We’re not a non-profit, and this goes to my personal PayPal account (it will say Your Simple Space if you click it), but I can promise I will put the funds towards expenses here. I’m working on a more transparent way to handle this, or perhaps move to a Patreon model soon if folks are interested…but joining/participating in AWC is FREE. I have no interest in artificially gating our community behind a paywall.
